Voidwright
There is knowing issues in the game that will be corrected in the STEAM DEMO push for next fest! Thank you for the patience!
You're out past the edge of every chart, mapping a void — and the void is closing in behind you.
Drifting around buys you a little breathing room, but it won't get you anywhere. You make your map by drawing. Trail a line out into the dark, loop it back on itself, and everything you close inside is claimed — inked onto the chart, and counted. The bigger the loop you dare, the more black you swallow at once.
Somewhere out in that dark, beacons are waiting, unseen. Chart the ground one stands on and it catches light. Kindle every beacon in a leg and the way opens — you break through, deeper down, where it's darker still.
Three things out here will end you, and they're all patient. Cross your own trail and you're finished. Let the closing dark box you into a corner and the run is over. And rocks drift through the black, invisible until your light falls on them — a red mark flares when one's close, and running aground is just as final as the rest.
Clear a leg and you're offered a choice: a boon to carry you further, or a pact that gives more now and comes collecting later. Nothing out here stays generous for long. The deeper you chart, the tighter it pulls.
Runs go on as long as you can hold the dark back. A daily seed drops everyone onto the same layout — same void, same beacons, one shot to chart it cleaner than anyone else.
And something out there has been watching you work. Give it a few runs. It'll decide what to do about you.
How far can you chart before the dark closes over?

One of best games I played this jam. Great job
aww thank you so much Chrono <3
This is honestly an incredible game. I had so much fun playing it once I figured it out. The music made at runtime is really impressive too.
The only runtime stuff are the sounds for the ship etc, music came from white bat audio! But thank you so much for playing the game! >3
